The Mayberry Foundation has announced its sponsorship of the 2025 Kingston City Run, reaffirming its commitment to community development and national wellness.
The official launch of the event took place on Thursday, October 9, at the Courtleigh Hotel and Suites, where key partners, supporters, and fitness enthusiasts gathered to kick off the countdown to race day on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
The Kingston City Run, now a signature event on Jamaica’s sporting calendar, continues to promote healthy lifestyles while raising funds for charities supporting the homeless across Kingston. Through its partnership, the Mayberry Foundation aims to champion both wellness and social responsibility, two pillars that align strongly with its mission to uplift communities through sustainable initiatives.
Desiree Wheeler, Mayberry Investments Limited Marketing Manager, expressed her enthusiasm for the event and the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to give back in meaningful ways. “The Kingston City Run is more than a race, it’s a celebration of community spirit and collective action for a great cause,” said Wheeler. “At Mayberry, we’re passionate about supporting initiatives that help build stronger, healthier communities across Jamaica.”
Participants in this year’s Kingston City Run can look forward to an energizing experience featuring a 5K, 10K, and half-marathon through some of the capital’s most scenic routes, all while supporting a worthy cause.
The Mayberry Foundation continues to play a pivotal role in supporting initiatives that foster education, health, and social upliftment, demonstrating that investing in Jamaica’s people is just as important as investing in its economy.
