BUSINESSMAN CLAIMS JM$258.5 MILLION SUPER LOTTO JACKPOT

Jamaica's newest Super Millionaire recently claimed his J$258,500,000 Super Lotto winnings after hitting the jackpot with the winning numbers 6, 12, 14, 18, 21, with Super Ball 2 in June.

An avid player, Mr. A. Byfield normally purchases his Lotto tickets on Tuesdays and Fridays. On this occasion, he changed his routine, buying a Super Lotto ticket instead, without any indication of what was to come.

He learnt of his win after visiting his local lottery retailer to purchase another ticket. It was only on arriving at the retailer that he discovered someone from that very location had struck the Super Lotto jackpot. To his utter shock, that someone was him.

“Thank you, Jesus!” were his first words the moment he realised the win was his own. “My workers were looking at me, with no idea what had just happened, but all I could say was Yes! Thank you Jesus!”

Asked who was the first person he told about his win, Byfield did not hesitate: his wife. He’s a dedicated family man, and plans to use his winnings to change his family's life.

For Byfield, the win represents far more than a stroke of luck. His dream has now given way to an even bigger one: growing his business and providing greater support for his family. He has already begun mapping out how the winnings will change his day-to-day life, with his business and his family at the centre of those plans.

"This win means I can finally put real resources behind the business I've been building," Byfield said. "It also means my family won't have to worry the way we used to, and that's the part that means the most to me."

Stefan Miller, CEO of Supreme Ventures Gaming, congratulated Byfield on the win. "Moments like these are exactly why we do what we do, to make winners every day!" he said. "We're thrilled to see another Jamaican life transformed, and we congratulate Mr. Byfield on this incredible win."

Byfield is the second Super Lotto winner for 2026, both from Jamaica.

Super Lotto is a multi-jurisdictional game currently played across six Caribbean countries: Jamaica, Barbados, St. Kitts & Nevis, Anguilla, Antigua, and St. Maarten. Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday at 8:30 p.m., with tickets available at authorized lottery retailers across all participating territories and jackpots rolling over from draw to draw until won.
