The Caribbean’s Halloween entertainment scene is entering a new era as Scream Halloween officially unveiled its 5th edition with a landmark collaboration between Scream JM and Rude Bashment. Launched recently at Di Lot in Kingston, the partnership brings together two of the region’s leading Halloween brands to create what organizers describe as the Caribbean’s Ultimate Halloween festival.
The collaboration marks a major milestone for the local entertainment industry, bringing together two powerhouse events with massive audiences and shared ambitions to elevate Jamaica’s Halloween experience to international standards.
“This partnership is really the way forward for the brand and for how we make Halloween in Jamaica something major,” Keanu “Keezy” Laing, Co-Owner RUDE Halloween, shared during the launch. “At this point, we both have the biggest Halloween parties in the Caribbean, so joining forces allows us to create something never seen before.”
Since its inception, Scream Halloween has experienced remarkable growth. Organizers reflected on the event’s humble beginnings, recalling its first staging as a small gathering before rapidly expanding into one of Jamaica’s most talked-about seasonal experiences. Over the years, the event has grown from hundreds of patrons to thousands, even successfully staging during challenging conditions when many events were cancelled.
Following last year’s successful Harry Potter-inspired production, organizers unveiled this year’s official theme: “Stranger Things.” Inspired by the globally popular series, the event will transform the venue into an immersive Halloween universe complete with interactive attractions, themed tunnels, scare zones, carnival-style games, live activations, and large-scale production elements designed to deliver a fully immersive festival experience. For the first time, the event will also take place on Halloween night itself, Friday, October 31, 2026, adding even more significance to the staging.
The festival is set to be hosted at Stadium East, where patrons can expect an experience comparable to large-scale American Halloween festivals, blending horror, entertainment, and carnival culture into one massive celebration.
Organizers emphasized that the collaboration between Scream JM and Rude Bashment was rooted in a shared vision rather than competition.
“Instead of competing for the same audience every year, we realized there was power in collaboration,” Jhe’Vonte Webster, CEO SCREAM JM, explained. “Both brands bring different crowds, different strengths, but similar energy. Together, we can create something much bigger for Jamaica and for the Caribbean.”
The launch event at Di Lot brought together creatives, promoters, and supporters who gathered to celebrate the partnership and preview what is expected to become the region’s most defining Halloween entertainment experience.
With larger production, expanded attractions, and a unified vision, SCREAM V is poised to redefine Halloween in the Caribbean.
Tickets and additional event details will be announced as the date draws closer.
